Haps
A platform that helps students discover and participate in parties and events on college campuses.

Overview
Haps is a platform that helps students discover and participate in parties and events on college campuses. The application makes it easy for Organizations to share their events and for students to discover them.
Development
Haps is being co-developed by me and my friend Ethan. We're both computer science students at Trinity who find it very difficult to find out what is happening on campus, so we decided to build a platform that would make it easier for students to discover and participate in events on campus.
Tech Stack
Key Features
Student Dashboard
Students can instantly see what's happening on campus with live updates that refresh automatically. Organizations can toggle their "open" status and students see the changes in real-time. Powered by Firebase's real-time synchronization.
Event Creation
Organizations can create and manage events through an intuitive interface with real-time updates. The system handles image uploads, RSVPs, and scheduling conflicts automatically. We focused on making it simple and intuitive to create an event.
Custom Party Themes
Organizations can choose between several beautiful themes. I generated these themes using Midjourney and manually adjusted them to make them account for the usual themes that are used on college campuses.
Live Attendance Tracking
Students can RSVP to events and see exactly how many people are going. Organizations can get statistics on how popular their events have been in the past.
